It seems that sometimes we get to a point in our lives where we just kind of want a re-vamp with our makeup. Maybe you've never really worn it before, or maybe you've been wearing the same look since 1984...haha. Either way, a lesson from a professional could be worth your while!

I have been in the industry for the past ten years and have been teaching women how to apply their own makeup for as long as I can remember. The beauty of having a private instructor is that I am not a salesperson. I want you to be able to use what you have at home to achieve your desired look. I won't laugh at your makeup collection...promise...well, unless it's dirty and old...then I'm going to call you out on it.

I have been asked repeatedly to teach makeup lessons and now I have devised a format in which to teach effectively in a group environment. Basically one person decides that she wants to host a makeup lesson party at her house. She are responsible for rounding up at least three friends. The minimum number of students is four and the maximum is eight. I will come to your place with all of the supplies and teach a 2-3 hour class. I teach through a mixture of demonstration, instruction and hands-on. When I'm done, you will all have had personal makeup advice and the knowledge necessary to replicate the looks at home, by yourself! This is a how-to lesson, so come with a clean, makeup free face and be ready to apply some makeup...

Lessons are tailored to specific needs and I can focus on whatever it is that you are most interested in learning. Although, I would recommend a more basic lesson to start with, that way we can build on what you've learned for future classes. It's always a little hard to run before you can even walk...

These are always fun evenings filled with laughter and bonding with your girlfriends. You could even turn it into the precursor to a girls night out, because you'll all look pretty amazing when we're finished!

I also love giving lessons on a one on one basis. Those can be done at either my studio or at your place. Personal shopping for makeup and skincare is also a possibility and can be done at any department store or makeup boutique in Chicago.
